The Resilient Guilford Network is an action-oriented, trauma resiliency network of systems and collaborative leaders that build and support safe, secure, and nurturing communities.
We are excited to continue collaborating and brainstorming ways we can work together using a trauma-responsive, racial equity framework to prevent and heal trauma while building individual, organizational, and community resilience across Guilford County.
THIS MONTH’S MEETING: We will focus on the mental health impact of domestic violence in recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. We are excited to launch the new Quick Tips booklet, "Providing Certified Peer Support Services for Individuals Who Have Experienced Domestic Abuse," co-created by the Kellin Foundation team. Attendees will receive a copy of this valuable resource upon arrival.
The meeting will feature Marva Edwards, Peer Support Specialist at the Kellin Foundation, and a special guest panel that will discuss vital resources and information on domestic violence. The event will include an overview of the Quick Tips booklet and a discussion on its contents.
We hope to see you and please share broadly to those who may be interested in attending.
