Ways to Give
The Kellin Foundation welcomes a variety of financial contributions in addition to cash. Support can include gifts of appreciated stocks, grants from Donor-Advised Funds, and Required Minimum Distributions from IRAs—options that not only benefit the Kellin Foundation but may also help reduce your annual tax obligations.
We are pleased to accept donations securely online through our website, or by mail.
Checks can be mailed to: Kellin Foundation 4010 Walker Avenue Greensboro, NC 27403
CASH DONATIONS
Donating stocks, bonds, or mutual funds that have increased in value over time can often be a more tax-efficient way to give than donating cash. The Kellin Foundation accepts stock donations through Morgan Stanley. Click here for account details and our financial advisor’s contact information.
GIVING STOCK
If you are 70 ½ years old or older, you can donate up to $100,000 annually from your IRA directly to a qualified charity like the Kellin Foundation, without the distribution being counted as taxable income.
QUALIFIED CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTIONS (QCDs)
As you plan your estate, please consider including the Kellin Foundation in your legacy through a gift in your will, naming the Kellin Foundation as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, establishing a Charitable Remainder Trust, or designating the foundation as your residual beneficiary.
