The Resilient Guilford Network is an action-oriented, trauma resiliency network of systems and collaborative leaders that build and support safe, secure, and nurturing communities. 

We are excited to continue collaborating and brainstorming ways we can work together using a trauma-responsive, racial equity framework to prevent and heal trauma while building individual, organizational, and community resilience across Guilford County.

THIS MONTH’S MEETING: This month’s meeting will host DR. TYRA TURNER WHITTAKER, CEO, WHITTAKER INSTITUTE FOR SUCCESS AND ENRICHMENT and a panel of special guests addressing behavioral health equities in communities of color during NATIONAL MINORITY MENTAL HEALTH MONTH.

Resilient Guilford action-oriented efforts include:

  • Build awareness of ACES, trauma, and resiliency science

  • Increase coordination and collaboration among local efforts for maximum collective impact

  • Deliver pre-service and in-service training for front-line workers, managers, organizational leaders, faith communities, and community members

  • Support policy changes and practices that are trauma-responsive.
