A lesser known trauma-focused treatment modality, Brain Spotting is an alternative type of therapy that uses spots in an individual's visual field to help process trauma. Pioneered in 2003 by David Grant, PhD, brain spotting predominantly utilizes the limbic system, a collection of brain structures that play a role in emotion, long-term memory, cognition, and much more, to reprocess negative events and retrain emotional reactions. Register for this workshop to learn about the newest research around brain spotting and other trauma-based therapies.
