Provider Academy: Identifying Signs of Child Abuse

ALL PROVIDER ACADEMY WORKSHOPS FOR 2023 WILL BE HELD ONLINE VIA THE ZOOM APP.  INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO JOIN THE MEETING WILL BE SENT TO YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS BEFORE THE DATE OF THE WORKSHOP.

Please register by filling out the form below.

One of the first steps in preventing child abuse or neglect is identifying the signs.

Approximately 5 children die every day because of child abuse, and for every incident of child abuse or neglect that’s reported, an estimated two incidents go unreported. In this workshop, participants will be able to identify the types of abuse or neglect, learn the signs that abuse or neglect may be happening, and learn their role as mandated reporters.

We invite all providers to join us in observing National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Workshop Led By:

Jessica Thompson, LCSWA
