Provider Academy: The Basics of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

Initially developed to treat symptoms of borderline personality disorder, chronic suicidal ideations and emotional dysregulation, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, or DBT, is now used to treat a variety of psychiatric illnesses with an emphasis on emotional regulation. Join this workshop to identify and discuss the differences between DBT and other treatment modalities, identify when a patient may benefit from DBT, and what outcomes can be expected.

Kellin Foundation's Provider Academy is a series of free workshops for all behavioral health and substance abuse providers and peer support specialists to gain current information about mental health and continuing education credit hours. Addiction counselors and peer support specialists receive 1.5 NCSAPPB General Skill Building Hours for each session.
