Building a Wellness Toolbox: Self-Care Strategies is a peer support wellness class designed to empower individuals with the tools and strategies needed to prioritize their mental health and well-being. The class is structured to be a safe and supportive space where participants can share their experiences and learn from one another.
Throughout the course, participants will explore a variety of self-care strategies, including mindfulness techniques, relaxation exercises, physical activity, healthy eating, and more. The aim is to help participants build a personalized toolkit of self-care practices that they can turn to when feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or in need of some self-nurturing.
The class is led by a trained facilitator who will guide participants through each session, providing resources and support as needed. Each session may include group discussions, experiential exercises, and handouts to help participants better understand and integrate self-care strategies into their daily lives.
By the end of the course, participants will have gained a deeper understanding of the importance of self-care and have a comprehensive toolkit of strategies that they can use to support their mental and emotional well-being. The class aims to empower individuals to take charge of their own self-care, foster a sense of community and support, and promote overall wellness.
